SPURLOCK & WILLIAMS REAL ESTATE
Friends and neighbors for nearly a decade, our business is built on a shared commitment to excellence in real estate, professional collaboration, creative and experience-based marketing, and giving back to our community. We live these values and are passionate about building client relationships based on integrity, trust, and open communication.
In-depth knowledge of the local market, including homes for sale on and off-market, gives our clients maximum choice when purchasing and affords sellers valuable insight into pricing and market timing. Armed with lessons learned during and after our time in law school, we offer sharp advocacy skills and the ability to avoid contractual pitfalls, giving our clients a leg-up in every negotiation.
We pride ourselves on providing concierge-level customer service. From the beginning of every transaction, we coordinate our extensive roster of proven vendors to eliminate the stress of buying and selling. We bring a strong eye for detail and design to every home, introducing visually stunning and thoughtfully conceptualized homes to market so our sellers realize top dollar.
Every house has a story, and every aspect of our marketing presentation - from tiny details like selecting fonts to orchestrating significant, unique listing events - is deliberately designed to convey the ‘why’ of the home. We have fun promoting and showing off our homes! When potential buyers enter a lively event at a newly listed house, an emotional connection to a home is created.
We are long-time and actively engaged residents of SW Portland's Dunthorpe/Riverdale neighborhood. We have volunteered extensively within our community and are proud to donate a portion of every home sold within the Dunthorpe neighborhood or broader Riverdale community to the Riverdale School Foundation to support the Riverdale School District. We do this because we believe that family, friends, and community are the bedrock of a life well-lived.
"I moved to Portland over 20 years ago and have lived in every quadrant of the city. After graduating from Lewis and Clark Law School, I worked as a prosecutor in Multnomah County. Working as a trial attorney developed skills that I bring to each real estate transaction - professional and unwavering client representation coupled with meticulous attention to detail and a keen ability to negotiate on behalf of my clients.
I value honesty, integrity, open communication, and well-researched business decisions. Trust and confidentiality are paramount in the broker-client relationship, and I work to build and maintain my clients' trust before, during, and after each real estate transaction.
I am proud of the volunteer work I do in my small Portland neighborhood, where I currently serve as a Riverdale School Foundation Board member. I collaborate with an incredibly talented board to raise over $1,000,000 annually to support our local school district. My demonstrated commitment to our community’s families will be the same commitment that Carrie and I bring to each of our clients."

"Few things bring me more profound joy and fulfillment than supporting and encouraging my real estate clients. I am an extraordinarily communicative, client-focused broker; I work tirelessly and offer honest, candid advice. My legal training and professional experience make me a persuasive communicator, advocate, and negotiator.
My desire to positively impact other people and the world around me has guided my professional life. Before starting my career in real estate, I spent over a decade in Washington, D.C., attending law school at George Washington University and working at the White House and the U.S. Department of Justice in events and operations roles. After my two sons were born, I focused on family and community service.
I moved to Portland from Northern California eight years ago when my husband accepted a position with a tech company in Beaverton. We settled with our two young sons in South Portland and are grateful that life took this turn; the beauty of Oregon and the wonderful community we discovered quickly made Portland our forever home. I am proud to have served my neighbors as a Riverdale School Board member and currently support the broader Portland community as a Board Trustee at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI).
I bring a deep sense of compassion, dedication, and care to every client. I love my job and am so grateful for the opportunity to help clients as they buy and sell homes in my beloved Oregon."

"Family, friends, and community are our passion and the foundation for all of these things is your home."
